Sweet Sweet Week 14

Some day I'll start belly pictures, but for now here are a few more 12 week surro baby shots.

 Alien baby!

How Many Weeks? 14 weeks

Size of Baby?  From head to bottom, baby measures 3 1/2 inches – about the size of a lemon – and weighs 1 1/2 ounces

Showing? Still small enough that true maternity shirts look weird, but big enough that normal clothes are tight. Starting to feel more pregnant and less gross looking though!

Symptoms?  So very thankful that once week 13 hit a lot of my pregnancy symptoms subsided! I woke up ON week 13 and didn't feel like I was going to die if I didn't roll back over and go back to sleep.  Still random nausea and tiredness, but nothing crazy. My sense of smell is still off the charts.

Sleep?  Great minus bathroom breaks and some crazy intense dreams. Welcome back weird dreams of pregnancy!

Miss Anything?  Nothing much these weeks

Movement?  Those fantom movements seemed to have taken a break this week.

Food Cravings? No. Quite the opposite since deciding on meals is rough and nothing sounds good.

Anything making you queasy or sick?  Certain smells but not one thing in particular I can pin point.

Gender Prediction? Nope

Recent Doctors Appointment?  The NT scan went fantastic and MAN is it amazing seeing how far ultrasounds have come in just a few years!  At 12 weeks we could see more than we could see at my 20 week scan with Charlie!  The tech was also super talkative and friendly so that made the appointment that much better.

Best IP moment? We had almost 2 hours to kill between the meeting with the genetic counselor and the NT scan so I got an amazing few hours of hang out time with my IM. We got to just hang out and talk and it was wonderful getting to know each other on a more personal level.

Most asked question? I've been asked a lot over the phone if I'm showing yet.

Nesting? We have been on the run non-stop so there has been no time for anything nesting related. But I think after the few weeks prior, I'm good with nesting for a while.

Jackie's Wedding!

Mike and I were so honored and excited to get invited to share in Jackie and Sheenna's special day with them.  We don't see each other even remotely close to enough and it was so amazing to get to see Jackie so happy and in love with her new family.  The wedding was at the most beautiful, tropical hidden gem in Chico and the weather matched perfectly.  Hot and humid, but perfect.  I loved all the unique and personal touches of their day and my favorite thing was the choreographed dance they preformed on the alter :) . All of their guests we met were such lovely people and it was great to see all the amazinness that surround them.  We are so happy for you gals and the kids!
Mandy got to walk a pig down the isle!!!
Every days a good day with Mandy in it!
My dates :)
The koi ponds that surrounded the grounds were breathtaking

Cousin Mandy and Sam's Wedding!

On a beautiful day in August we got the honor of attending my cousin Mandy and Sam's wedding in Novato.  It was right in the middle of one of our heat waves but someone the weather God cooperated and it was such a perfect day!  The venue was breathtaking and I loved all the details of their day. They had The Campbell Soup Band playing for the first half of their reception, which was a low key BBQ feel with plenty of home brew on tap. After lunch they had an incredible rockabilly style band get the party started. It was great getting to see the family members we don't often see anymore, and introducing them to the kids.  Mandy looked stunning and her and Sam looked like they were really enjoying their best day ever :)  I didn't take many pictures but here are a few!

Sugar Pine 2017

This years Sigona Family getaway was to Sugar Pine - just up from Twain Harte.  The house was awesome! The lower level had a full game room, which the kids loved, with a bedroom. The main level was the living spaces with another bedroom and 1.5 baths and the upstairs had a HUGE loft with a sitting area, SIX twin beds and another room with two more beds.  The house was just up the road from the neighborhood lake, which we spent most of our time at.  Friday night we headed up to Pinecrest for a movie (Despicable Me 3) at their incredible outdoor theater.  My brother happened to get released from a fire just in time to join us for most of the trip - he had to leave early Sunday to go back to work - but it was a rare treat having him there with us.  I really loved the location this year since we got lots of down time at the lake and everyone that wanted to fish got ample opportunities since the lake was filled with blue gills.  We will see if we get a strictly Sigona trip next year since we are returning to Dunsmuir for our family reunion, but either way we'll squeeze in Sigona time :)

Air Hockey on one side, foosball on the other
 Hooray for Uncle Anthony time!
Still one of my favorite places ever
Waiting for it to get dark enough for the movie
Mike got some killer shots when him, my dad and brother went fishing Saturday morning
