Vegas!

Oh vacation, I love you so!  Mike and I got a little adult time with Matt & Vicky over Veterans Day weekend.  Thank goodness for Grandparents that are willing to take on our nuggets for 3 nights!  We flew out after work on Friday and couldn't wait to get our weekend started. We cruised around some of the hotels near the MGM, where we were staying, gambled a bit and just spent time catching up.  Saturday we headed out to get bloody mary's we had all been dreaming about and ended up walking a good chunk of the strip. We attempted to go swimming but since the sun sets at, like, 2pm due to the buildings being so tall, and it being pretty chilly to beginning with, that didn't last too long. But at least we tried! The hot tub was nice at least.  We cleaned up at ended up at Hexx for dinner at the Paris.  I think we were all in heaven with our food, and the view was beautiful, so thank you cab driver that recommended it since the place we were planning on going didn't work out.  We walked around some more before deciding to hang out at our hotel for the night.  Adult arcade and whiskey bar... no need to venture far from those!  Sunday we headed to breakfast before walking the rest of the strip. We decided to ride the High Roller before heading back to get ready for dinner and our Cirque show.  We gambled a little more, spent some more time at the arcade and gave into the tiredness and headed to bed (it was still after 1am so I didn't feel too guilty).  We said our goodbyes Sunday since Vicky and Matt had an early flight. Mike and I had basically a full day to fill on Monday since we didn't fly out until 7:30ish - which is never a great idea after 3 nights in Vegas. We were very ready to get home!  We made the best of it and spent some time at Top Golf and walked the strip again. Since we aren't huge gamblers or shoppers, we threw in the towel and headed to the airport early.  It was a really great, much needed trip but boy did we miss our kiddo's by that last day!  I think we both agree we are more Disneyland people than Vegas people, but I'm sure I'll want to return before I know it ;p

Airport Selfie
And all cleaned up to hit the town
3 days of uninterrupted Vicky time!!!  YAY!!!!
We spent a lot of time in this adult "arcade" in our hotel
Shoes connected to pants is a thing now??
Wouldn't be a trip to Vegas without a Bellagio garden walk through
A little arcade time on our way out to dinner
See! We were there a lot!

Wynn
High Roller! I'm so happy we decided to go on this crazy "carousel" ride
Almost to the tippy top!
The Rock N Roll Marathon was happening while we were there. It was crazy seeing the strip shut down
Our last night we headed to dinner and a show - ONE (Michael Jackson Cirque du solei) - LOVED it!
Back for more
Mike's first Top Golf Experience
Look. I'm a baseball girl, not a golfer (poor form, but still had fun!)
Mushi!  I've been thinking about this appetizer since we went to Top Golf in AZ years ago!
Home sweet home with our babies! I had to give them kisses even though they were out cold by the time we got in.
