Tummy Time Smiles

Gotta love Kendall's many different smiles!
Oh, you're taking pictures mom?
Let me start with a coy smile
Then smirk a little bigger
Now I'm really getting happy!
You still getting these mom?
Now I'll really ham it up!

Gosh I love this girl :) :)

Progressive Dinner

Our friend Lisa had brought up the idea of a progressive dinner at the beginning of the summer but we all got so busy we pretty much forgot about it. Luckily she reminded us and we got a date on the calendar before it got too cold outside. I have not done a progressive dinner since I was in girl scouts! I have to admit, this time around was way more fun :) We decided to just do 3 houses since it gets dark early and we had no idea what the weather would be like. We started at Lisa and Kevin's house with appetizers and cocktails, walked over to Cary and Lucas's house for soup, salad and more cocktails and ended by walking over to Jen and Joe's house for the main dish, dessert and yup, you guessed it, more cocktails. Thank goodness for the walks in-between the courses because we had quite a feast! It was SO much fun and I can not wait to do it again! We'll just have to start earlier so we aren't eating dinner at 11pm.

I only got pictures from our last stop...

Best Thing EVER!!

Last night I was walking up to the house after I got home from work and Mike and Kendall had just come outside to grab the mail and let Hanna out to go to the bathroom. The neighbor and her dog Roxy were also outside so Hanna and Roxy started to jump around and play. Kendall started to crack up! I was still a little bit away and could hear her but couldn't tell if she was crying or laughing until I got closer. We have never heard her laugh so hard! Roxy had to go back inside but Hanna continued to jump around and Kendall continued to laugh at her. Luckily I had the camera in my bag and whipped it out just in time to catch some of her laughter. Is there anything better!?

Grammy and Goompa came by last night and I had Hanna jump for a toy and Kendall started to laugh again! Guess we know what to do now :)

4 months old!

Time just keeps going by quicker and quicker! Our little peanut is 4 months old already! We took her to her 4 month check up and shots today and she did amazing. I also did much better on this round of shots ;) We were guessing she was going to be over 24 inches long and around 14 pounds so we were shocked when she only weighed in 11.2 pounds (6%) - only 1.2 pounds more than she weighed at her 5 week appointment! The doctor says she is in perfect health so no need to worry. Shes most likely just going to be a skinny baby/kid. She was 24.8 inches long (72%) so we were right on with that.

It's getting much harder to take Mickey pictures of this squirmy little girl! If her hands aren't in her mouth then her legs are going up over her head or she is trying to flip herself over. She thinks it's hilarious to watch us struggle to get a good picture, which is adorable, so we can't be too upset :)

Happy Baby!!

I'm very jealous of Lacey and her awesome video's of little man Austin :) Every time I grab the camera to take video Kendall stops whatever she was doing that I wanted to film! Here are some great pictures from play time with Daddy last night instead.
Daddy is funny!
We call this her turtle face because she sticks her head forward on that little tiny neck of hers and puckers her lips

Sick Day Fun

Since I was out sick Monday and Tuesday of last week Kendall and I had a ton of play time together. Brandi gave me an awesome box of hand-me-downs to go through so I had some fun trying hats on K :) She's such a good sport!

It's getting much harder to get a picture of her without her hands in her mouth!

Kendall was so pooped out from all our morning play time that she passed out on her play mat!
Big girl in her bumbo
Big girl trying to escape the bumbo haha
I can't get her to sit upright for too long before she try's to make a break for it
More hats!
I love this little beanie
Does she look good in hats or what? So cute!
She was in her bouncer/activity center when I took this. She was VERY focused on the lights and animals in front of her
K's been sucking on her two fingers lately - just like I did!
Hanna thought she was a stuffed animal :)
Bret and Julia gave this adorable owl sleep sack to us for a shower gift. It's been too hot to put her in it and when I was cleaning out her drawers the other day we decided to try it on. Yup, she's getting too big for it already! It's sad because it's so adorable and warm and cozy it would have been great for the winter!

Kendall is really grabbing at things and holding on tight these days. I decided I should break out the toys and put them in a basket downstairs so they actually get some use. Mike couldn't decide which one to give her so he dumped the whole bucket on top of her! I swear we torture this poor girl!
Again...what a good sport!
K just hanging out with her puppy some time last week
This is what I come home to most every day Kendall is at daycare. All the fun with her friends poops that girl out!
Mike bought Kendall this adorable bear outfit when I was around 5 months pregnant. It's still a little big but we couldn't resist putting her in it for the last outdoor movie of the year. We'll have to take more pictures of her in it and get more detail because you can see the tail or the paw marks on it. SO CUTE!
Daddy and Kendall just hanging out waiting for me to get off of work last Thursday :)
Here is Kendall talking up a storm! Please excuse my horrible squeaky voice - I was just starting to get it back after my cold.
**Ok I tired for 3 days straight to upload this viedo on here but I gues it's too large of a file. Here is the link to youtube instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZlwCo2aLh0***

Kendall is officially rolling over like crazy from her back to her tummy and occasionally from her tummy to her back. I'll try and get some video up on here this week :)

Kendall's Christening

This past Sunday Kendall was baptized at our church in Redwood City, St. Mathias. She was such a good girl and took her morning nap during mass, woke up just in time to be christened then went right back to sleep. She only made a few little squeaks while we were up at the alter and her timing was perfect so it a few laughs from the crowd. Unfortunately my cold took a turn for the worse on Sunday so I didn't have much of a voice or the energy to socialize with all of our amazing friends and family that came to Kendall's brunch celebration. Thank God for my parents and rest of the family that helped out SO much with all of the preparation and clean up! Even though I wasn't feeling well it was still an incredibly special day that could not have turned out any better. Kendall is truly blessed!

How gorgeous is Lexi!?

K did great with the water being poured on her head. Only a few little squeaks :)

Olivia going up with all the kids to make a wish for Kendall before blowing out her candle.
I love that they invite all the kids of the church up to help blow out the candle! The look on Heather's face seeing that 20 kids were going to be blowing their germs all over her was priceless!

My super awesome friend Bob took some shots of her in the dress before I changed her into her party outfit.
Love it!
