Oktoberfest came a week earlier than normal but we were thankful so it didn't end up being back to back weekends with salsafest again. Although, don't faint, we are skipping salsafest this year. Gasp! More on that another time though. Redwood City enlisted their faithful Capn' Mike's crew to volunteer and run the food booth again this year. I guess we didn't screw up so bad last year! We were feeling great about it, more prepared and ready for craziness and for the most part things went as planned. Thank goodness for the RWC staff for jumping in to help us when things got really crazy and for our amazing group of friends for always being up for stuff like this! Even though its a lot of work, we always end up having so much fun!
Lesson learned from last year. Have salami and cheese portioned out prior to service!
Friday night's pretzel goddess - and basically the only picture we got that night
Saturday day shift. Slaving away while I was doing an Open House.
And Saturday night shift once the insanity died down. Prepping for Sunday.
Making breakfast burritos for our hard working crew and RWC staff! Thank you left over brauts for inspiration!
Sunday day shift and still going strong!
Whitney got us a treat for the end of the weekend and we didn't even bother with plates!
The crew wasted no time getting the tent off the square. Until next time Oktoberfest!
