Sigona Christmas 2017

To kick off our Christmas events of the year we started the best way possible...with Sigona Christmas!  The only really major bummer was the Ridings kids were sick and we not able to join us :( . We did get a quick surprise visit from Stephanie and Isabelle, which lifted all our spirits.  Since it fell on a Saturday this year we were able to start at noon and had a really nice relaxing day instead of staring at the clock and creeping way past normal bed times. Aunt Noreen and Uncle Dave cooked a delicious meal and hosted a wonderful day as usual.  Needless to say, it was a great day!
Silly girl! She let me curl her hair since I had it on for my own :) I miss her ringlets!
 Muti-tasking haha
This is Rocky's "don't leave me" face
Missing two of the cousins, but we'll take what we can get!
I made Isabelle open one of her gifts before she left - a giants doll I made her :)
 Mouth approved!
These two were wrestling every chance they got
 I love Gavin's face!
 Back to wrestling

Winterfest 2017

Kendall's school puts on a winterfest show every year, which is split into two nights since there are so many students. The younger grades get "buddied" up with an older grade and they each sing 2-3 songs and/or poems.  It's really cute to see how into it the kids get and it's especially adorable to see all the kids all dressed up and out of their uniforms.  It was a great kick off to the holiday season for us! My favorite part is how Charlie picked up on her songs and hearing them sing together at home :)
All ready in her frosty hat
Kendall's favorite boys (Mitchell, Tyler and Declan) are in the other 1st grade class, who went first.
When it was Kendall's class' turn to go, she ended up having a front and center spot on stage!  She did so well!  She has developed some stage fright when she sings or dances, even at home, so it was nice to see her smiling and singing happily without a second thought.
 After with her bestie Naomi

Katie & Paul's Baby Shower

To round out the baby shower's galore, we hosted a co-ed shower to honor Katie and Paul and their pending arrival - baby Lucy!  They had their family shower the day before so we decided to keep things mellow and have more of a "hang out" rather than full blown baby shower.  Katie loved the display table of gifts that Victoria had requested at her shower, so we went with that, a chili bar, a yummy cake made by Jamie and corn-hole for whoever wanted to play.  Katie and Paul are glowing with excitement and Alicia and Haley are going to be incredible big sisters. We can't wait to meet this already SO loved baby girl and welcome her to the craziness that is our friend group.  But she needs to cook a little longer so we'll have to be patient :)

Beautiful and delicious cake by the amazing Jamie
"Baby making potion" aka booze favors
My first hand-made doll!  We did a super hero theme and I found the most adorable avengers fabric that was too good to pass up!  It worked perfect for her dress and the baby blanket she matches.
mmmm food
To prove there is a massive girl boom happening in the group, the littlest of the kiddos were invite to join us.  You'll see them throughout the blog but we had - Abby, Mia, Joss, Kelsie, Taylor and Holland!  I love how they are in different people's arms throughout the pictures.
