LDTAPH- Day 4 & videos

Day 4 and we had a few hours to "kill" in the park before we wanted to hit the road home.  I for some reason didn't sleep at all the night before but managed to pull it together :)  We finally got to hit some of the rides we had been putting off, like Peter Pan, and quickly since Tuesday morning is pretty dead in the park. The only major bummer is Kendall's favorite ride, Splash Mountain, ended up closing down so we never ended up making it on this trip.  But, we did finally make it on Indy for her first ride!  She loved it and said she wants to be sure she can "drive" next time.  We hit the road just about noon to head home and by some miracle made it home in just over 6 hours WITH a gas and food stop!  We couldn't have asked for a better ending to our trip!  So... thus concludes our year of Disneyland (sniff sniff, tear tear).  You can't keep us away for too long though so we'll see you in 2018 Disney (yup we are actually going to try and make it over a year before we go back)!!

In the park early waiting for rope drop!
Very tired Trinette
The castle looks naked without all the 60th bling!
Charlie had fun watching the ducks while we waiting for Daddy and Kendall to ride Big Thunder

LDTAPH- Day 3

Day 3 and we decide to let the kids sleep in and just get to the park late.  For some reason the rest of the world had the same idea because even though we got to the park an hour after it opened, on a Monday no less, the lines to get in were INSANE!!!  Like, I've NEVER seen it that crazy before!  The lines for DCA and Disneyland were crossing each other (see picture below). Yikes. We couldn't even fight our way across to make it into downtown Disney and hop the Monorail so we just sucked it up and waiting with everyone else.  Once we got in everyone disbursed and it actually wasn't as crowded as the outside made it appear to be.  We hit some rides before heading over to DCA to meet Anna and Elsa.  Kendall was beyond excited and even though we waited for over an hour, it was well worth it!  Oh and I forgot to mention that on Day 2 Kendall and I went to see the Frozen live show - which was amazing!!  I highly suggest seeing it!  After all the waiting in lines we wanted to let the kids run wild so we headed towards the adventure park.  Since Disneyland closed at 6 for the Halloween events we decided to just hang in DCA until it got too packed, and so I could watch the neon turn on in Carsland -which is probably my favorite thing ever! - then we headed over to Trader Sams for dinner and relaxing.  It was a long, but amazing day and the kids did great without any downtime!
