Redwood City's Picnic en Blanc

Redwood City organized a "pop-up" unconventional picnic fundraiser to benefit the after school programs, so of course we needed to be there.  The request was to wear white with a splash of color and I think everyone did an amazing job at following through!  We weren't told about the location until 48 hours before the event, which added a bit of fun.  There was live music, great drinks and even better company!  Just topped off by the fact that it was for a good cause.  Can't wait to see what they plan for next year!
Beauties in white!
With glasses...
and without (we were all blinded with all the white!)

Summer Fun!

Summer has flown by and most of our favorite summer events have already come to an end.  No more music in the park, the San Mateo firefighters chili-cook off was this past weekend and music in the square is ending this week.  WAH!  We sure did have a blast all summer long and fully intend on continuing the fun even if most of the events are over.  I didn't take too many pictures but here are a few.

Hailey's 2nd Birthday

"Baby" Hailey turned 2!  I guess that means we should drop the baby part, but it may stick around until her new baby brother/sister arrives :)  We celebrated the birthday girl with a mellow Monday night dinner at one of our favorite local, family friendly spots - the Canyon Inn.  The kids love it because they get to run around and "play" video games, and we love it because they love it!  Hailey seemed to have a great night but I think the cupcakes were her favorite.  Thanks for being an adorable, smart, silly, dancing machine of a two year old little girl!!
Look mom! No hands!

Meh - Ripping the bandaid

Meh only because I've had zero drive to do some blog posts.  But that's only because we have been going non-stop!  (What else is new...)  So let's get back on this thing and catch up on some posts!  Because next month is even more crazy than this month was so if I get too far behind I will never catch up again.  Random pictures, here we come!
Yup, wouldn't be a phone photo catch up without my sleeping babies!
Bath time fun!
Backyard fun
That belly and that fro!  Melt!
This boy loves to dance!  Even if a commercial comes on and it has background music he stops what he is doing to bust a move.
My first Giants game of the year!  And sadly, it may be my only :(
More backyard fun
The water was freezing!  Watch how fast Charlie climbs out of the pool after he jumps in!

Kendall has grown to love our airplane neck pillows
Squeezing in a quick Mandy visit the night I got back from Katie's Bachlorette weekend.  I wouldn't miss seeing her for the world!
 Here we go again.
 It still fits!
Now that Charlie has a few teeth, it was time to make his crib guard!
Kid tested, mother approved!
 TEETH
This is kind of my dream come true. I always wanted an adorable passed out baby at the table situation and it finally happened!  Watch the video below for some good laughs.
I wish I knew what we did that day to make these kids so tired!
 Hi handsome!

Stopping play time for some hugs
My first hand-made dress.  Not perfect, but she likes it :)

On the road to Lake Tulloch for a quick weekend getaway
I moved the toybox out of the living room and into Charlie's room.  Now let's see how long it takes them to bring all the toys back out one by one...
Trying on Uncle Ant's coat - still way too big. Maybe Christmas ;)
