Great Start to 2009! (Take 2)

Since I wrote this whole thing yesterday and it somehow got erased...let's try this again shall we?

Yay for 2009!!! It's been a wonderful start to the New Year (and it's only 7 days in!). It all started with a great New Years Eve party at our house with some of our wonderful friends. We did the party cocktail style. Every few people got together and brought the ingredients to concoct a new and delicious drink. We took turns making our drinks over the course of the night and were suppose to vote on our favorite. I think you can guess why that didn't happen ;0) We had such a good time that the party didn't end until around 3:30am! We are such party animals...



The next morning, or later that morning really, we all regrouped at the house for some yummy breakfast and a little hair of the dog that bit us (yum...Mimosas and Bloody Mary's). It was the best New Years Day I've ever had. Hanging out in our PJ's all day, eating, drinking, playing video games, ping pong and watching movies...what's not to love? Everyone left around 4:30pm and Mike got some sleep.

The following day I spent most of the afternoon showing property to some good friends of mine. Great way to start the year! Keep your fingers crossed for the offer we wrote yesterday :0) Once we were done I headed out to meet up with Cary, Chris, Vicky and Victoria for a fun night out on the town (uhh...San Carlos, whoohooo!) We had drinks at Town, dinner at Spasso, more drinks and live music at Piacere then onto the new and improved Carlos Club for dancing and Karaoke. What a fun night! It was great just being able to hang out so close to home and walk from place to place. Who knew San Carlos had such great night life?

The rest of the weekend Mike and I spent relaxing, cleaning, taking down Christmas decor (booo) and just enjoying each others company. Now we are back to work and our crazy lives, but so far crazy in a good way. Let's keep the great year going! Happy 2009 everyone!!!
