Our little Hanna is healing up nicely. She's managed to tear at her stitches on her head but luckily they vet was able to just glue the site back together. Otherwise she would have had to have gone back under anastegia! I got an uncalled for lecture from the vet on how she needs to be wearing her cone but that is how she tore it in the first place; Trying to get that damn thing off her poor little neck. Anyways, hopefully the stitches will come out Tuesday. She's been coming to work with me every day so I can make sure she doesn't scratch her wounds, and is starting to get very bored with it.
The lump that was on the top of her head did end up to be Mast Cell cancer but thankfully it was only type 1 and all the margins were clear on what they removed. Still scary though! No further action needs to be taken at this point. We just have to watch out for any new lumps.
