Wine Walk & Alicia's Bridal Shower

Last Friday was the San Mateo Wine Walk. I've never been but always heard great things about it. Basically the entire downtown San Mateo opens their stores up and gives out wine for tickets (that you pay for). There are bands and vendors set up all over. It's a great opportunity for these little stores to build more business. Since Hanna had her surgery the day before we were worried she wouldn't be up to walking around all night and there was no way we could leave her alone. When Friday afternoon came around she was bouncing around like her normal self so we were all set to go. We met up with the Dirksen family and friends and had a great time. I was being cheap and didn't want to spend the $30 to get the crappy glass and few tastes of wine so we brought our own :) There were tons of people and we ran into lost of blasts from our pasts. Definitely going again next year!
Sunday I had Alicia's bridal shower. Her maid of honor hosted and put together a champagne cruise for us in Foster City. It was a GREAT idea and so much fun. They had the boats stocked with yummy food and champagne. Once we got back Alicia opened her gifts and we hung out in the back yard in the sun. It was the perfect day :)
