Girls Disneyland Trip

As a special treat, for Kendall AND me, we took a super fast girls only trip down south to see cousin/God Momma's new house in Gover Beach and then down to Disneyland.  We drove down after I got off work on Monday and by the time we reached Gilroy (less than an hour in) Kendall had a complete melt down over how much she missed her brother and that she wanted to go home.  It was both hysterical and heartbreaking.  That girl really does love her brother!  After she pulled herself together we continued on our way to Heather's house.  And after a short tour and bathroom break we were back on the road to Anaheim.  Around 2 am we pulled up to our hotel, passed out and woke up excited and ready to go for our long, fun day in Disneyland.  This was Kendall's first trip there without a stroller and although I was a little worried, that little girl powered through a marathon day without a single complaint coming out of her mouth! She went on every ride without question, even Tower of Terror which she avoided like the plague on our last trip.  What a rockstar Kendall is!  The next morning we packed up, headed back for an early dinner at Firestone in SLO before continuing on our merry, tired way home. I wish we could have stayed longer but I think it was a pretty perfect trip over all :)

In the driveway, ready to hit the road!
Happy princess Kendall ready for the gates to open
After waiting in line for what was suppose to be Kendall's first ride on Indian Jones, she got turned away as we were about to load into a car.  The person at the front was not having her .5 inch shortage.  Boo :(  So we headed straight to Big Thunder to cheer her up!
"new" autopia.  I didn't notice a difference other than the sponsor change.
We were happy to go on Kendall's favorite ride, splash mountain, to cool off a bit. I was soaked before we even got inside the ride!
Like mother like daughter!
Also new and approved Jungle Cruise.  Again, didn't notice a change haha!
Heather's first ride on Nemo
Kendall's other favorite ride - teacups!

Parade break!  I was happy because we found seats with a clear view!
and got a much needed beer!
Also Heather's first time in Car's Land.  LOVE the neon at night!
Last ride of the night.  Can you tell she was beyond tired?
