Tilden Park

This weekend we needed to be out of the house almost all day, both days, because of Open Houses.  Yes, we are selling our place but more on that at a later date.  It was a gorgeous weekend so we decided to take a short ride over to Berkeley to finally ride the steam engines at Tilden Park.  I really really wanted to get pictures of us and our wedding party on the trains on our wedding day but in order for us to actually enjoy our reception we decided to pass.  Anyways, Mike and his family use to come to the park specifically for the trains when he was growing up.  His dad was even a member of the club and got to "drive" the trains.  It was about time we went and it was even better than Kendall got to join in.  After a few minutes on the first ride she was hooked and had a great time.  She had fallen asleep in the car on the way up there (Thank God because she got zero naps this weekend from being out of the house) and it just took her a bit to wake up.  It's $3 per ride for people over the age of 2 on the main train and the club members offer free rides on their train!  The rides are not short so it is well worth the few bucks.  I'm sure we'll make this a few times a year event :)

Family shot on the first ride.  Kendall was not happy about being awake yet.
Sleepy girl!  The hat is she is wearing is Mike's old train conductor hat :)
Kendall getting excited for another ride
Running around waiting to go back on the first train.
Hooray for a train car this time!
My goodness, cuteness overload!!!
Very intense!
She looks like such a baby here!
Whats that?
