Halloweens (yes, multiple)

The kiddos were extra spoiled this year with Halloween falling on a Saturday.  It meant they had a full weekend before for events, plus numerous events the week of and then of course, Halloween its self.  It's a good thing these kids are sleepers otherwise we'd still be recovering from all the fun!

A week before Halloween was Redwood City's Spooktacular.  We got there right at the start since we had another party to go to that evening, and naps to squeeze in, and thank goodness we did because that place gets nuts!  The line to get in when we were leaving was insane!
Charlie was a cross between the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter - we went with whatever someone called him at the time - and Kendall made the perfect Alice!
This is apparently her new smile by the way. You'll see it a lot in these pictures!
 Game time!
 Face painting
Charlie got some games in too

That night Andie and Andre hosted their yearly pre-Halloween party.  Such a fun night with awesome people!
Megan is all the kids favorite!
(one of) the Cutest Lobsters Ever!!

On Thursday before Halloween facebook sponsored a Halloween night out in downtown Redwood City.  I didn't take many pictures but the kids got to dance to Andy Z and the Andyland Band, walk in a parade, trick-or-treat and see the awesome 3D mapping show in the square.  Since we had pirate costumes from the summer, we thought we'd mix it up for the night.
 Arrrgggg

Friday morning was Kendall's pre-K Halloween parade. The kids got to wear their costumes to school, have a little show and tell fashion show, trick-or-treat and then the parents were invited back to watch a parade and see a few songs be preformed. ADORABLE!!  And yes, Kendall wore yet another costume (this was her costume from last year)
Little Mermaid (yes she has a leotard on under her skimpy outfit!) and her bestie Ethan the Power Ranger!
So cute walking with one of her teachers
 Such a great class!

 Gabby and Kendall
I love the new friendships that have already happened!
 Posing with Teacher "Doc McStuffins"
 Ariel Squared!

We decided to skip Friday nights event since the timing is almost impossible for me to make it to (4-5:30) and I knew it wouldn't hurt them to get into bed on time that night. Saturday we hosted a gathering at our house to cut down on some of the running around for everyone. Grandparents were able to come to us and see all of their millions of honorary Grandkids! And real Grandkids too :)  We hung out for a while, went on a short little treat-or-treating spree, then back to the house to continue the party.  These parties sure our different with all of these little ones running around but we make sure they are as fun as ever (if not more so!)
Painted pumpkins this year!
bubbles!!!
A little bit of arts and crafts to keep the kids busy
My favorite lobsters! (and Kendall's too!)
Bonus points to anyone gets their costume reference :)
 Ethan kisses
Everyone needs a dancing, pregnant frog at their party!
Nicolas had the best accessory to his costume :)
Auntie Vik with little angel Alyssa!
I mean, really!?  I want to burst this girls so adorable!
Brewer and Alex had a great time handing out candy
Uncle Matt to the rescue!!  Someone jumped out at one of the houses and scared the daylights out of some of the kids, and Heather, which ended Kendall's night of trick-or-treating.  Uncle Matt carried her allllll the way home.  Her hero!
 Uh-oh, blow fish kisses!!
She managed to fight them off though!
