Super bowl weekend we hit the road and headed North for a visit with the Macway's and my Brother's family. We were having so much fun with the Macway's that it was really hard to leave for our next stop. The kids got to catch up and play like old times while us adults got to relax and catch up as well. Boy do we miss them!!! After we pried ourselves away we ran one errand then headed to my brother's for more down time and catch up. We don't get together enough, especially now with Kendall in school. Basically it's getting harder to see any of our family/s! Thankfully we were able to spend the night and not only had most of the day Sunday to keep hanging out with Brandi and Anthony (we never see the kids since they disappear into play with each other) but we were joined by the Jones', Cindy/Andy and family and some other of our "bonus" family. We decided to hit the road after the half time show since there was a huge storm coming. Thank goodness for ESPN play by play since the game completely turned around after we left! It was worth it since it was already dumping most of our drive and we were able to avoid a good chunk of traffic. Kendall was so tired she passed out the second we hit the freeway and didn't wake up until I woke her up for school the next day! Charlie too but it fought it longer :) We missed being at a few parties at home but we sure did have a fun weekend!
