This is SIX

Our first born turned 6 on June 19th.  And so far, 6 is pretty darn awesome.  This girl is a ball of happy and silly.  Her goal in life is to make people smile and feel loved. She's a caregiver at heart and even though her and her brother fight, you can see how much love she has for him when she helps him and plays with him.  She loves to read and be read to, play board games and really loves her baby dolls and stuffed animals. Every day she comes out with a new "baby" dressed in a diaper and some cute outfit with a diaper bag ready to take on the day.  She loves her friends and family and lights up at even a mention of getting to see them. She can be very feisty and we are already terrified of the attitude and mood swings we get glimpses of. The teen years are going to be exciting!  But like I said before, she is mostly a happy, silly, smart (not so) little girl that we love and adore!

At Kendall's 6 year check-up she was 52 lbs - 85th percentile, and 4 feet tall - 91st percentile.  And we are pretty sure she's grown another inch in the last month! She still has no signs of loose teeth, something which she's shed some tears over since "everyone" at school is loosing teeth.  Our tall girl has been a rockstar at her swim lessons lately and since she has fun playing sports but isn't really into them, I think by next year we will have a "shark" on our hands - Redwood City's swim team.  Only time will tell!  We can't wait to watch what amazing things she does over the next year.

Last night as a 5 year old, and got a special letter from Auntie Mandy and Uncle John
I love that she still looks so young when she sleeps
Then, over night, she turned into a grownup... I mean, 6 year old
Kendall choose sushi for her birthday dinner.  Her and I split some rolls and she ate me under the table. She sure does love her salmon and tuna rolls!
Charlie is a turning into a sushi fan as well
Gifts at home
Then a few days later Nonnie, Nonno, Aunt Lex and Uncle Mike came over to celebrate with drumsticks
