3 weddings, 2 days!

For some reason every year we receive invites to two weddings on the same day. Some years we have had to choose one over the other and others, like the past 2, we have managed to hit both weddings - doing ceremony and dinner at one then cake and dancing at the other. This year was no exception, expect we actually have 2 days of double wedding invites! The second set one is in Hawaii though so we won't be making that one sadly.

Grammie and Goompa watched Kendall for the double wedding weekend so we could spend the night and not have to worry about picking her up at 1am or whenever we got back (both weddings were about an hour plus south of us). It was really tough on me being away from her for almost all day Saturday and Saturday night but I still had a good time. Being away from her overnight made going back to work seem like a piece of cake that's for sure! We attended my long time friend Ryan & Krista's wedding ceremony and stayed through dinner and their first dance then drove 40 minutes to our friends Joe & Jen's wedding for a second dinner and dancing. Yup, we ate two dinners!! We hadn't planned on being at the second wedding in time for dinner but since we were the bride and groom pretty much told us we had to eat ;) We had a great time at both and I'm very happy we didn't have to choose one over the other.

The following weekend we had a good family friend of Mike's family wedding and Kendall stayed with Nonnie and Nonno. They also had Gavin and Lexi so I'm sure they needed a nice long nap after the weekend :) It was a great night out and we had so much fun with Mike's family. It's been a long time since Stacy had a night out away from her girls and it made it that much more fun to see how much she was enjoying herself. I really loved the fact that we got a "date night" and were still home in time to put Kendall down to bed :)
