Back in November we got to celebrate two our of adorable nieces birthdays at the Jones Homestead - Lainey (2) and Lexi (6). It was raining most of the day but everyone adapted and either huddled around the firepit on the patio or inside the house. Dan even held the pinata for the kids inside the play room to keep the kids dry... for a little while anyways. Rain never stops these kids from playing outside! Always a good time with our awesome extended family!
Then, a few weeks ago, we celebrated Gavin's 8th birthday at Scandia. Yup. 8. Inset some tears here. The bigger kids got to go on some rides, had pizza and cake and then got to take over the arcade. Mike and I had to take off for Sarah and Jameson's wedding but thankfully Nonnie and Aunt Lex came to the rescue so the kids could keep the party going. I'm still in shock my baby nephew is EIGHT!? Yikes.
