Vacation Day 8 - Goodbye for Now Disneyland!

Saturday morning we took our time waking up and getting packed before heading home.  The kids had a tons of gift cards left to spend so we made sure to factor in some shopping time in Downtown Disney. Plus we had gotten very use to lots of walking... 71.88 miles according to Mike's phone... so we wanted to get a little movement in before the long drive home.  The kids ran around the lego store, did some damage at the giant Disney store, spent the rest of their money at the confectionary and we grabbed breakfast at Sandwich of Earl - which sadly was closing the week after we left to make room for the new hotel (but we heard it's being relocated so fingers crossed!).  We said our goodbyes to our new favorite hotel and loaded up before it got too late. Thankfully the drive home was very smooth, the kids got a head start on catching up on some sleep and we were home by early evening.  I'm sure we won't be able to stay away for too long but our trip was so fabulous that it should tide us over for at least a year.  Maybe....

I loved all the hotel's little special details!

Seeing that hat makes me happy even looking at this picture

You'll be hard to top Disneyland Hotel!
This is most of the kids souvenirs they purchased with their own gift cards. Not pictured - Kendall's sun glasses, Charlie's Disney themed Lightening and Mater and both kids candy (which surprisingly was pretty minimal)
We had the kids silhouette's done again this trip. It was the same women that did their 18 month old ones, which I think made it all the more special. But look how much they have grown!!
