End of the school year - 3rd and kinder

I'm jumping ahead a bit since the kids already re-started school and I hadn't posted about the end of school! Really, I have no idea. End of school sucked and weird doesn't being to describe it. We all feel like Charlie got jipped out of kindergarten and Kendall was really starting to connect with new friends. School was definetly phoned in those last few months, and I don't blame anyone for that because we were all throw into this new way of schooling together. I learned I'm a terrible teacher, especially when trying to work full time.  I need a tutor to learn this new way of math and we were both frustrated as parents not being able to explain how to figure out these problems outside of how we learned. I felt like we were failing our kids in so many ways. UGH. BUT anyways. 

The kids really did dive in and accept their new school this year beautifully. They made new friends and adjusted really well.  Kendall made best friends with the librarian since she flew through books and made daily visits to see her. We hadn't found our new school family quite yet but were starting to make some connections. The time we had inside the school was nothing but great so we all really look forward to the day they get to return there.
