Some of my favorite things = my friends, babies, party planning... So planning a party for one of my best friends because she is having a baby!? Kinda the best thing ever! Victoria is having a baby girl and we could not wait to celebrate! In one way it seems like I've been thinking about this day FOREVER but in another, it flew by! And I'm not even the pregnant one! Victoria had an in through work for the Department of Sheriffs Association's incredibly awesome room, so we took full advantage. It was extra nice not having to go crazy cleaning the house before and after a party too! Vik didn't really want to open gifts at her shower so we decided on a display table where people could browse the adorable baby things and save on wrapping, therefore helping the environment by not having a bunch of extra garage :) Plus it gave everyone more time to just hang out and have fun. We had a couple silly games, a headband/hair-clip making station and tons of Victoria's favorite brunch food. Vik's friend Stephanie got the beyond cute cake, that was also to die for tasty! The only negative of the day was Victoria got hit with a bad cold a few days before the shower and was basically in the thick of it during the shower. I think she still managed to have a good time though and we were all more than thrilled to shower this little baby to be! Let the count down begin (but not too fast little girl!).
